Steven Westman, Financial Advisor
As a founding partner of Cornerstone Financial Group, Steve has been a financial advisor since 1994. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours degree in Business Administration. He successfully passed the Canadian Securities Course in 1991 and Professional Financial Planning Course in 1998. Steve is married to his wife Angela and has two daughters, Jessica and Nicole. Steve is very active in the community. He has served on the board of directors of the Walkerton Golf and Curling Club, the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce and BIA, and is an active member of the Walkerton Kinsmen Club. He was co-chair of the Walkerton Kinsmen Splash Pad Committee. He also loves playing pickleball, golfing, kayaking, boating and walking his dog Abby.

Dennis Ruetz, Financial Advisor
As a founding partner of Cornerstone Financial Group, Dennis has been a financial advisor since 1998. Prior to this, he worked at Walkerton Toyota for 20 years in a variety of positions before eventually becoming general manager to a team of 20 employees. Dennis successfully passed the Canadian Securities Course in 1998, and is multi-licensed in Ontario to sell mutual funds, insurance products and mortgages. He enjoys working with and helping his clients to reach their financial goals. Dennis is married to his wife Joanne and has four children, Dustin, Jenna, Kristen and Kelsey. He is also very active in the community and volunteers his time for a number of different causes. Dennis is a Director for the Walkerton Hospital Foundation and a former member of the Doctor Recruitment Committee. He is also the race director for the annual Run 4 Health, which raises funds and awareness for necessary hospital equipment in our local community. Dennis also enjoys running, golfing, reading and spending time with his family.

Betty Wilken
Having previously worked in an office environment for 17 years, Betty has been an Administrative Assistant with Cornerstone Financial Group since 2005 and really enjoys dealing with all our clients. She lives in Walkerton with her husband Bob and their puppy Tess. She has a son, daughter in law and 3 granddaughters who also live in Walkerton. Betty has been involved in canvassing for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Kidney Foundation for the past few years and loves to walk, golf and garden but now her favorite past time is spending time with her beautiful granddaughters.
